Taking place on Sunday, MAY 20 - this night is gonna be an exceptional night of GOOD LIVE Music from some of the very best new & emerging UK talent! Bring in the British Summer with Good MUSIC, Good PEOPLE & Good VIBES!
With a combination of midnight Soul, a hint of smooth R&B and velvet-laced vocals woven in lush harmonies, fast-rising British Singer/Songwriter D. WALKER not only seduces your senses, he commands your full attention with his music and performances! Re-emerging in 2012 with his brilliant new single titled "Beyonce Songs" in a time where British R&B music seems to be floundering, D. Walker is making an excellent case for being the real deal and one bright future of R&B/Soul music in this country. The recently released music video for "Beyonce Songs" has quickly been placed on rotation by KISS TV, Smash Hits, 4 Music and The BOX among others while being supported by the likes of Huffington Post, Jumpoff TV and Grime Daily. Catch D. Walker perform his new single and more at One Mic UK

RAX is a 21-year old UK Hip-Hop/Grime artist who has steadily been creating a huge buzz for himself on the urban scene with the success of his latest opus, The Black Crook Project which has seen him release a new music video every two weeks for six month since October last year. The excellently ambitious project has garnered over 200,000 Youtube views, massive support from UK tastemaker blogs such as SoulCulture, Hip-Hop Chronicle UK and SB.TV as well as massive radio airplay from Charlie Sloth on BBC 1Xtra. Next up for RAX is a performance that is NOT to be missed at One Mic UK and a hugely anticipated mixtape The Pick Pocket which drops a day after the show.

Introducing British born Nigerian female Hip-Hop artist and lyricist AINA MORE. Drawing her influences from the likes of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Louis Armstrong, Frank Ocean and Sound Sultan, Aina More began writing poetry and peforming at the age of 12 and soon after, added drama and theatre to her repertoire. In 2009, she joined Performance Arts group Silhouettez In The Dark and having performed extensively across the UK and in Nigeria with her group, Aina More re-emerged late last year as a solo Hip-Hop artist with her stellar debut EP titled Back To Life which featured an excellent collaboration with Afrikan Boy among other gems. Aina is now gearing up for the release of her debut single due out this Summer but not before she blesses the One Mic UK stage with her first solo performance.

Emerging London Singer/Songwriter, self-taught musician and producer EGO ELLA MAY will also blessing the One Mic UK stage in May. Aged only 19 years old, Ego Ella May has already been tipped by British Soul legend OMAR as "One to Watch" and after listening to her excellent songs, we can see exactly why. Taking inspiration from Indie, Neo-Soul and Jazz music, Ego Ella May - with her distinctly graceful vocals, beautiful harmonies to die for and a compellingly atmospheric musical milieu - comes with a certain "Je Ne Sais Quoi" that is not only undeniable but also welcoming and captivating.

Introducing fast-rising British Singer/Songwriter ADENIKE with sultry soft tones, a unique writing style and purple hair that make her not only unmissable but also definitely one to watch out for in the UK's emerging music landscape. Bursting unto the scene with an amazing debut single titled "YES" which features UK rapper IKES, Adenike has been receiving major radio airplay and support from Choice FM and Jazz Radio (France). A brilliant appearance on SB.TV's latest A64 series has also gone a long way to boost the stocks of this young Londoner who counts Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan as among her musical influences. We are blessed to have her at One Mic UK for 'Bringing In The Summer 2012'.

Also introducing emerging R&B/Pop singer and songwriter CAMERON JAY who hails from Aberdeen. Literally fighting hard to be where she is right now, in music and in life, after battling and beating liver cancer at the tender age of 10, the 22-year old Scottish Singer/Songwriter has supported UK veteran artist/producer Donaeo on tour in Aberdeen and recently performed at London's Kilburn Festival upon relocating to England. Cameron Jay - who has also been selected to perform at the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics 2012 taking place in July - will be performing a special acoustic set at One Mic UK and we are especially pleased to have her bless our stage...
