NEW Gefell M 320 condenser microphone
 
 
 
Launched at prolight+sound in Frankfurt, the new M 320 adds an
omni-directional microphone to the M 300 series.
 
The series is now:-
M 300 - cardioid
M 310 - super-cardioid
M 320 - omni

The price is the same as the M 300 and M 310 and there is also a stereo set available.
 
 
Gefell update the M 900 / M 910 and MD 100 series
 
 

Microtech Gefell have updated the M 900 and M 910 condenser microphones and also the M 100 series dynamic microphones (MD 100, MD 110 and MD 120).
 
The microphones now come as standard in a Nextel® S139 "dark grey" finish.
 
The reason for the change is that Nextel is a very durable finish for a hand-held microphone, is also non-reflective and is far less likely to slip in the hand during a live and sweaty performance.

ME-Geithain RL 901K in South Wales
 
Sound-Link dealer, Soundkit in Cardiff, recently supplied a pair of ME-Geithain RL 901K monitors to a discerning studio in South Wales.
 
Increasingly ME-Geithain monitors are the choice of recording and broadcast engineers who appreciate their accuracy and neutrality as well as the unique "Cardioid" bass response of the "K-series" monitors.

We are selling the demonstration pair of the Maier Sound "TURTLE" at a special price.
 
Maier Sound recently updated the "TURTLE" to have the addition of fixing holes on the base, so we will be replacing our demo pair with the new version.  These are the originals without the fixing holes and are the ones we have shown at exhibitions.

CHARITY RECITAL at CHIPPING CAMDEN
 
This is a special musical event to launch a new charity, Sono Vivo, dedicated to presenting professional classical concerts for the benefit of cancer charities.  Richard Meyrick and Alisa Liubarskaya, both cancer survivors themselves, will perform a programme of music for cello and piano.
 
The recital is on the 24th September in St. James's Church, Chipping Camden and all receipts will go to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Sound-Link's John Willett will be recording the recital - more information will follow later, but mentiond now to give you an opportunity to attend the recital if you so wish.

New Gefell Product Overview Brochure 2016
 
Gefell have now produced the new 2016 version of their "Test & Measurement" microphones product overview brochure.
 
This is a big improvement on earlier versions and includes new products recently released.

New Price Lists
 
Due to the recent collapse of the pound post Referendum, we have, reluctantly, had to increase prices a little.
           
We have kept the increase to a minimum and prices are still lower than they were in 2013.
