Here we are again with our regular newsletter and after kicking in 2010 with allot of new productions we can announce yet again another BodyBeats event, an exclusive Belgian KMFDM show!
For the first time ever we have some bad news too… Bar Mondial, THE ideal music bar and place to promote smaller bands and artists will close down on May 1st. So, if you never had the time before to visit our monthly BodyBeats nights @ Bar Mondial, you will only have two more chances to be part of a legend … this Friday, 6th of March (Sieben + The Breath Of Life), or next month April 2nd (Line-up TBC).
VOMITO NEGRO - 'SKULL & BONES' in German Alternative Charts!
Skull & Bones', the brand new album by Belgian Electro-EBM band Vomito Negro and recently released by Out Of Line, is doing more than well! While tons of extreme positive reviews & comments from fans, colleagues, professional music critics and magazines around the world keep coming in, it's of no surprise the album, would show up in the Deutsche Alternative Charts. After entering the DAC only just one week ago, on the 10th position, it already climbed up to number 5 in the album charts! RECOIL Selected Events Tour 2010
Recoil is a musical project created by former Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder who replaced Vince Clark as writer/composer/producer and keyboardplayer. Essentially a solo venture, Recoil began whilst Wilder was still in Depeche Mode (1982-1995), as an outlet for his experimental, less pop-oriented compositions. His first release 1+2 eventually came out in mid-1986, not long after the release of Depeche Mode's well-received album Black Celebration.
ZEROMANCER + NO MORE (Industrial-Metal, Norway) (Post-Punk-Electro-Wave, D)
ZEROMANCER emerged around the year 2000 & immediately draw attention with their single and like named debut album ‘Clone Your Lover'. Their follow-up album ‘Eurotrash' did again very well with hit singles like ‘Dr Online' and ‘Need You Like A Drug'. Today they will pass by Antwerp to present us their new and already 5th album ‘The Death Of Romance'. NO MORE is best known froml their 12" ‘Suicide Commando'. A record which should be in any respectable music collection. After their successful passage at the BIMFEST 2008 and their recently released magnificent new double-A-sided single called 'Sunday Mitternacht / A Rose Is A Rose' we thought it was about time to invite them again. As the festival name might suggest ... This festival features mainly bands that we represent, work(ed) with... or simply like!

KMFDM or roughly Translated: No Pity for the Majority Spawned in Germany during 1984, and pioneered the crossover between techno/dance and heavy metal with their signature industrial sound. Moving to Chicago in the mid-80' s KMFDM was the pride of Wax Trax Records during the label's peak. The band brought in 2010 with a bang, releasing Krieg, 12 tracks of new, diverse and exciting remixes of tracks from Blitz reworked by top names across the musical spectrum. The self-proclaimed fathers of industrial-rock show no signs of stopping!
The concert takes place @ Trix Club so tickets are limited!
