Saturday, May 5 - Tropicalfete Steel Pan Recital - Music Theory in Action
The pannists did an amazing job and we even had a full house! We saw a
clip of Panomundo Part 2: Pan Worldwide, the second-half of a documentary
about the history of the steel pan and its global influence by award-winning
filmmakers Keith Musaman Morton and Charysse Tia Harper. Former Chair
of the United States Steelband Association, Keith Marcelle, provided
a perspective of steel pan music.
