TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index edged up 0.07% on the first day of the trading week to close at 91,160. Automotive (+2.24%) was the top sector of the day, while Paper Products (-2.09%) was the weakest. The most active sector by value was Base Metals (+0.21%) with volume of IRR 346 billion (approx. USD 8.2 million). Stocks making the biggest impact on the All-Share Index today were led by Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +1.44%) National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI -1.99%) and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Co. (CHML -1.89%). Iran Aluminum Co. (ALIR +4.91%) was the most traded stock with volume of IRR 214 billion (approx. USD 5.1 million). In total 879 million securities were traded on the TSE for IRR 1,721 billion (approx. USD 41 million), down 22% from the last trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed up 0.04% at 3,893. SAIPA Group (SIPA +2.07%) was the biggest gainer of the index, while National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI -1.99%) was the weakest. The top 30s total traded value dropped 39% to IRR 357 billion (approx. USD 8.5 million). |
