The Best of Impact Mechanics Vol 2: When Impact Mechanics started in 2007, Chicago was in need of something new to pave the pathway of Chicago's techno sound and scene. Chicago wanted something fresh and energetic. The label has since become one of the most reputable underground techno labels out of Chicago. IM can be heard across the world and has become a favorite by many. It is evident that there was a following for techno in Chicago and the states. Fast-forwarding now into the future, the label Impact Mechanics still stands strong. With that being said. We have put together a compilation of some of our favorites on the label. As you can see, there is nothing short of quality. Enjoy!

When Impact Mechanics first started in 2007 we were on a mission to find hidden gems, producers, music, something that the public weren't accustomed too. We were extremely happy to have made contact with Dj Saint Pierre. This driving and heavy industrial release really focuses on the power of rhythm. It's pretty relentless, apart from a short breather a couple of minutes from the end. The tracks stirring high-pitched effects and progression, really shows his unique production skills and abilities in music production. Take a listen to his new EP Dark River.
