Zone 5 Police Officer Jeff Crawford is on the Kidney Transplant list. Officer Crawford is a well-known, respected community officer. He has been actively engaged in law enforcement in Pittsburgh for more than 20 years. He was one of the officers to survive the 2010 Stanton Heights shooting. He is a very generous and giving officer that often goes beyond the call-of-duty. He has played Santa for area children for more than 10 years. He is beloved by the entire community. On February 26 The Kidney Foundation is offering two informational webinars. One is to provide information for those in need of a kidney and the second for those who are interested in donating a kidney. Both events are free. March is Kidney Awareness Month
