NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE - ROBERTSON ROAD BETWEEN CARGO WHARF AND CATHERINE PARK

Residents are advised that two big gum trees have fallen onto power lines and are currently resting precariously on the wires.  The SIRFB have cordoned off the road at this point awaiting Ausgrid’s arrival to remove the trees and rectify any wiring that has become dislodged.

PEDESTRIANS: IT IS NOT SAFE TO WALK THROUGH, TREES AND LIVE ELECTRICITY CABLES CAN FALL DOWN ANY TIME

Please use the alternative route to Bell Wharf and Cargo until further notice.  Council are still working on Richard Road installing drainage during the day and vehicular traffic will still need to use the Thompson/Cecil Street route, but pedestrians are able to pass through the work site.
