ClassicarGarage Newsletter 19, July 10 2008

Dear classic car enthusiast,

Since the previous newsletter we tested and photographed ten new arrived fine classic automobiles. As you can see in the photographs below the test sessions were quite interesting.
One of the highlights was the perfectly restored 1956 Jaguar XK 140 SE DHC. This car shows how fantastic a Jaguar XK can be, by looks and roadholding.
Impressive was the encounter with 'David & Goliath' at Smiths-Veglia. First we drove the
ultra light and playful 1960 Lotus Elite S2... after that the robust, bold and heavy 1932  Lagonda 3 Litre Brooklands special. Both cars were engineered as racing cars in an entirely different time frame. Two extremes with one mutual aspect: pure and unfiltered driving sensation...

Sincerely,
Marc Vorgers.
