Market Summary

TSE All-Share Index

Tehran’s All-Share Index slipped 0.05% to close at 79,620 today, with most sectors end­ing in the red. The weakest sector of the day was IT (-1.29%), while Paper Products (+3.74%) outperformed other sectors. Base Metals (-0.08%) posted the highest daily trade volume of IRR 151 billion (approx. USD 4 million). Stocks making the biggest impact on the All-Share Index today were led by Informatics Services Corp. (INFO -1.84%), National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI -1.25%) and Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +0.85%). The most actively traded stock was National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI -1.25%) with IRR 39 billion (approx. USD 1 million) of shares changing hands. To­tal market traded value gained 1% from yesterday, reaching IRR 2,051 billion (approx. USD 54 million).

 

TSE30 Index

The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization added 0.03% to close at 3,112. Mellat Bank (BMLT +1.31%) was the leading share in the top 30s, while National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI -1.25%) was the biggest faller. Total traded value of the top 30s was IRR 165 billion (approx. USD 4.3 million), down 28% from yester­day.
