Welcome to the Tita ImpEx Newsletter. Tita ImpEx is a leading Malaga-based supplier of Indian herbs, spices, marinades and Indian beer. Tita ImpEx is a family owned business and has been trading in spices for over 20 years. Each product is hand selected, directly from source by our Indian parent company, so you are therefore guaranteed that we will always provide you with the very best authentic quality at the very best prices.

In the last couple of months we´ve been very busy expanding our product line to give our clients a  better service. We are happy and grateful to our clients for their patience, trust and to see that our clients order our products on a regular basis now. Tasting Events:
 
We´re not only busy in Spain, but we’re also very active in the Dutch market at the moment. On 29th March we organized some cooking demonstrations at Tropic Culinair Tasting Event in Shopping Centre Rokade in Utrecht.


 

And on 23rd and 24th May we will give cooking demonstrations at  Wah Nam Hong Tasting Event in The Hague. Please take a look at our website or Facebook page for more information.

Furthermore we are working on great new promotional material to help increase sales for our wholesalers and supermarkets in Holland and Spain. Within a couple of weeks we will provide them with this.

We´re also very busy in India working on the next container. Everything is ordered and we´re now busy packing it. It will leave the port of Mumbai in a couple weeks. In addition to the spices, we will have the home
tandoors, catering tandoors and the serving dishes as mentioned in our last news letter.

Spotlight: Harry´s Restro in Benalmadena

Recipe of the Month: Goan Fish Curry
          Ingredients, serves 4
·              4 tablespoon Goan Fish Curry Masala
·              1 kg Fish, washed and cut into pieces (Tuna or any fish with firm white flesh)
·              2 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
·              1 Onion, chopped
·              1 teaspoon Tita Chili Pepper hot (or fresh chilies)
·              2 tablespoons Garlic Paste (or fresh garlic)
·              1 tablespoon Ginger Paste
·              ½ cup Tamarind Juice
·              ½ cup Coconut, grated
·              2 Tomatoes, peeled and chopped
·              2 cups hot water for gravy
·              Salt to taste


Preparation
Step 1
Put the onion, tomato, coconut, ginger, garlic, chilli powder, all the Tita Goan Fish Masala spices and the tamarind juice into your food processor and grind well to make a smooth paste (masala). Heat a deep pan on a medium flame, add the oil and heat.
Step 2
Add the Masala paste you have just ground to the oil and fry for 5 minutes.
Now add the 2 cups of water (add more water if you would like more gravy) and salt to taste and bring the gravy to the boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add salt to taste.
Gently add the pieces of fish to the gravy and cook for 15 more minutes. Do not cover the pan. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
Serve with Basmati rice and any of the vegetable dishes you can find on our website.
