YOUR OWN BILLBOARD IN THE LONDON UNDERGROUND IN 2010
Art Below continues to display the works of emerging creative talent and have secured a selection of some 'cream of the crop' poster sites in top stations including Bond Street, Gloucester Road, Old Street, Angel and London Bridge. Poster sites are slap bang in the middle of the platforms and have a viewership of over 38,000 people every two weeks. We have secured these spots for a long term period and are looking for artists, writers, photographers, designers who want to display their work in this space for 3, 6, 9, 12 month periods with the option of refreshing the poster content every two weeks. We want to encourage a familiarity between the regular tube users and the exhibitor's work.

TOKYO - LONDON UNDERGROUND ART EXCHANGE:
Following on from our most recent show in Shibuya station, Tokyo we are displaying the works of artists of Japanese origin in Angel Tube Station this January. There is still time to apply. For further information please contact ellie@artbelow.org.uk
BERLIN PILLAR OF ART FEBRUARY 2010: Art Below are once again taking over the districts of Berlin Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg where an internationally renowned gallery scene is booming. Art work will be displayed on 14ft high pillars. Application process begins January 2010

Art Barter: 27th - 29th November
The Art Barter event revolves around the idea that artwork will be acquired by individuals through alternative means to money. Artists have always been familiar with the use of barter. From Picasso exchanging sketches for his meals, to hotels (such as The Chelsea Hotel in NY) accepting art as payment for rent and select YBAs having tabs at restaurants such as The Ivy in exchange for pieces of their work to adorn the restaurant walls. However, the
ArtBarter event is unique because it is the only exhibition to promote such a
form of exchange amongst a wide array of artists and the general public all
at once.
