Dear all,
We had a great event Tuesday night, thanks to the Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati firm, hosting us in their San Diego facility and sponsoring the event; this new venue provided us with a renewed sens of community ... we had a great talk by Dr Cathy Charles, taking over for Chris Hoover, MedinCell Corp.'s CEO who had to fly out at the last minute for some hot stuff; the Q&A session was very interesting and almost as long the talk itself ... very cool ...Thank you very much to all of the French BioBeach aficionados who came and made this event special; and Thanks again to WSGR for hosting & sponsoring (Champagne !!!), and to La Bastide Bistro for providing some fine French food, as well as a gift certificate which was raffled out .. and the winner is Dr Feridoun Karimi-Busheri (NovaRx).
Our next event will be next week, on Tuesday Nov 16th, during the Neuroscience 2010 meeting in Downtown San Diego, and will have a special European flavor (details below).
Also, our friends from the Office of Science and Technology from the French Embassy in the USA will be hosting an event together with the French Society of Neurosciences entitled " Meet the French Neurosciences" on Monday 15th (details below).
Next week will be fun, and, as Notch Johnson would say ... "ride the big one" ...
