Tickets for DPIC cost £6.00 (+ small booking fee) and can be booked online at the Corn Exchange - click here.

Print Competition - Round 3
Next Wednesday is the closing date for Round 3 of the Print Competition which will be judged by Martin Fry FRPS AFIAP BPE2* APAGB AV-AFIAP. To see some of Martin's work, have a look at his website at www.martinfryphotography.com. This may or may not help you, do you put pictures in similar to those on his website because you think you know what he likes and you'll do well, or do you avoid his type of image like the plague because you know he'll be particularly hard on work similar to his - Quel dilemme!

Studio Group
The next studio event will be on Tuesday, 7 February at 7pm. The model will be Cara Wheatley, who has modelled before at West Mall. Cara is a performer who regularly appears at outdoor festivals.
Please sign up using this link. Numbers are limited to 6 photographers and will be on a first come first served basis. Once 6 participants have been reached, anyone else who signs up will go on a reserve list in case of cancellations or they will have priority on the next event. The cost will be £15 per photographer payable in cash on the day.

Trumpet Blowers' Corner
Salon acceptances: BPS photographers are now achieving large numbers of salon acceptances and constraints on time and space mean we can't include them all. So please only advise of awards or other milestones.

Contrary to popular belief, I do not possess psychic powers and need you to tell me if you've had successes. If you want to blow your own trumpet (or someone else's), then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include details in a future issue.
