On Thursday 18th April 2013 St Padarn Lodge held a special meeting to recognise the outstanding service of W Bro Bob Williams PPrGW who has been a Freemason for a continuous period of 60 years.  Can you believe we are already on the third newsletter! Spring is in the air and the Provincial Executive are already busy preparing for the meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge on Thursday 4th July 2013. There will be full details and a booking form in the West Wales Mason Magazine, which will be with you by the end of May. In a ground breaking initiative, the Summons for the meeting will also be published in the magazine, as part of a special 12 page pull out section. All the details will be on the website too.
The Provincial Committee meetings and the AGM of the West Wales Grand Charity are being held on 9th May in the Masonic Hall in Carmarthen. The Charity meeting starts at 11.00am. Full details will be on the website as soon as they are available.

No waits for a consultation or assessment!
The Samaritan Fund has recently overhauled it's Small Grants Fund to help all eligible beneficiaries who are facing a long wait to see a consultant on the NHS. Previously this support was only offered to people in receipt of means-tested benefits, but now it is offered to any eligible beneficiaries who are told that they will have to wait longer than 8 weeks to be seen by a consultant. The Masonic Caravan Club was blessed with brilliant sunshine to kick off the year when they held their first rally of the season over the weekend of the 19th & 20th April at Wiseman's Bridge in Pembrokeshire. The event was well supported with twelve member’s caravan units in attendance and also joined by guests from the Eastern division. Full details here. |
