Simple solution, big time-saver...

Whenever you write a phone number down, always include the name of the person or company as well. Many times it can be troublesome to remember who the number belongs to, when going back to these scraps of paper. It’s a simple tip yet one which saves time and frustration in the long run.

Reader Tip...

This month’s residential tip comes from our reader Kim Petroni.

When young children receive birthday or holiday cards from loved ones, let them enjoy them without the cards ending up all over the house. Just hole punch the top left corner and use a loose-leaf ring (try Office Depot #351019) to corral them all together. Children can flip through the cards as many times as they like and they always stay together.

Thanks Kim for this terrific tip.

I’d like to hear your best organizing tip. If you have a great organizing tip, please send it to lori@forteorganizers.com to be considered for a future newsletter post. I’ll credit your name, of course, when your tip is featured.
