Dear family and friends,

 

Just a quick note to let you know that we are safely back on the ground in Denver.

 

The journey was exhausting, but we are energized by the response of the Afghan people (especially the kids!) and are full of hope for their country.  We are also eager to tell more stories so if you happen to run into one of the team members somewhere, be ready for the floodgates to open!

 

Once again I can't thank you enough for your continued prayers, thoughts, and encouragement throughout our preparation and travel particularly through the April/May/June delay we experienced that really tested our resolve at times.  Now that we are back we can honestly say the trip was well worth the wait.

 

May God richly bless all of you for your faithfullness.
