Sometimes things don’t turn out the way you want to. This is a penance for a fuck up. When Andreas Tilliander released his vinyl 12” “Showtime” a while ago, the thought was that it should be accompanied by a major bunch of remixes and the thought was to release them on different spots on internet instead of an endless list of remixes that would be too much to take in. But it all just got messy.

SHOW REMIXES

1. Hurting from the Lack of Bass
A completely new track from Andreas Tilliander. or is it? Anyone with an explanation wins. What we know is that it goes down with a dub and a true track.

2. She Don't Cry (Minilogue's Inca in the Cloud Mix)
Electronic superstars Minilogue, here in a splendid deep house, dub techno remix.

3. She Don't Cry (Minilogue's Leftover Loop)
There is nothing left over with this remix. It is meant for the leftovers of the table, for the late hours. Cocoon’s Minilogue goes deep down with this remix.

4. Stay Down (The Field Remix)
The Field is one of the big stars on renowned German label Kompakt. He chops it up and delivers a brilliant remix to make you contemplate.

5. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Mikael Stavöstrand Remix)
With over fifty releases and appearances on both Fabric mixes and mixes by Get Physical's MANDY, Mikael Stavöstrand has become one of the most important names in the world of deep, minimal techno. He is frequently traveling the world playing at the biggest clubs and festivals. In this remix he is in a slight jolly mood. Nice to see you smile!

6. Arlanda (feat. Jocke Berg) (Familjen Remix)
Familjen, one of the super stars on the Swedish electronic scene, made a name for himself even abroad with the monster hit “Det snurrar i min skalle”, a few years ago. Here he puts another of the super stars in Sweden, Jocke Berg from the band kent, in a really flourishing 90’s euro sound. A really Detroit-like playful and really simple version for the floor.

7. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Boeoes Kaelstigen’s Flars Remix)
Upcoming stars Boeoes Kaelstigen are masters of production that makes you think of futuristic mind travelling and aerodynamic. Look out for their debut album in 2010. And who is Flars? Flars - born in 1977. Real name Fredrik. Livs in Rotebro. Belongs to "Trinity Sound System". Once called Flash. Absolutely fantastic DJ. Short unpolished hair cut and best dressed in hip-hop uniform. Seems to like green and does have a telephone nr.

8. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Pellarin’s Ritz Mix)
Pellarin used to be in charge of the machines and production in Danish band Printer. He stayed up one night, drank some of his beloved whiskey and came up with this smoothly ticking remix. Like a line on a piece of paper. Elegant and oh so beautiful.

9. Caught in a Riot (Karachi Reduction)
Adam Lundberg commutes to Berlin and the grayness in his music makes us dwell over ramshackle squat houses and dripping water. His take is epic, atmospheric and oh so beautiful in all its darkness. In over 16 minutes he digs down into a deep deep cave, so still you can see the scents.

10. Caught in a Riot (Per Hammar Remix)
Per Hammar is a rising star. Don’t be surprised to find him on the bill wherever you are. He is a master of techy almost progressive smooth dance euphoria. This instrumental take of Caught in a Riot makes us think of open seas and night dancing on white beaches.

11. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Staffan Lindberg Remix)
Staffan isn’t just Malmö’s sluttiest DJ; he is a hell of a producer as well. This take is in our face, on the floor, through the ceiling. You have seen him sharing stage with names like Boys Noize and Crookers, this is already a fidget house classic.

12. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Triobelisk Remix)
Triobelisk goes to Norway for inspiration for this space disco remix. There among the fjords he transcendent to outer space and comes back with a peak dance floor swinger.

13. Arlanda (feat. Jocke Berg) (Urban Electro Squad Remix)
Johan Antoni has created music for crate diggers for a while now. This remix could be electro if it wasn’t so slow and crawling. A reptile like remix with Jocke Berg from kent on vocals.

14. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Houseclap Remix)
Houseclap is an extension of Swedish house collective Spånka NKPG. As we know Spånka NKPG they have always danced around in the neighborhoods of electronica, jazz-house and filter disco, this is no exception. Except that it is really meant for the floor. So put your hand up, and swing!

15. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Tomi Kiiosk Remiksi)
The likewise crazy as genius Finn Tomi Kiiosk cuts the original in pieces and clamps them back together in big chunky beats. Completely analogue and brilliant, he will make you dance your way into your worst Koskenkorva experience.

16. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Kite Remix)
Kite is Christian Berg (Yvonne, Strip Music) and Nicklas Stenemo (The Moe, Melody Club). Together they make new wave/synth pop in their own special way. They turn “Caught in a Riot” to a duet and bring in something that sounds like a children’s choir.

17. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Data80 Remix)
Swedish electronic producer Håkan Lidbo, has among many things remixed Depeche Mode with great success. He goes under many names. His moniker Data80 can be found on many compilations, among them some from French babies Institubes. Håkan nourish the 80’s in this blipping poppy bon-bon remix.

18. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Vapnet Remix)
Vapnet may be Sweden’s best pop band and this is the sweetest treatment of an electronic track you might ever hear. Vapnet takes a look at the song and realizes that it might as well be an English version of one of their own folk pop tracks and make sure that we hear it as they do. Flutes, xylophones and a tossing beat. Listen and smile. For the indie pop dance floor.

19. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Kaman Leung Fittsforfight Petraholic Version)
Kaman Leung is the saga of one of the world's most beloved Swedish/Chinese hip hop producers now exiled in Norway. In an attempt to protect the music he loves from cataclysmic destruction, Kaman embarks on an epic journey of redemption that takes him from the depths of the ocean to the far reaches of outer space.

20. Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Slyboots Remix)
Slyboots emerged a few years ago with incalculable grooves and absolute rhythm feeling, a successful symbiosis between 'brand new' and 'retro'. This remix is built around futuristic rhythms and the song’s melody structure. Trip hop electronica with 70's-sounds and easy listening attitude.

21. Medication (MKMN99 Remix)
A remix of a recreation. This is meta post music from deeeep down south. This is the deepest you can go down the dub step caves.
