Welsh Three Peaks Challenge
In 2021, brethren of Strumble Lodge, Fishguard in West Wales Province, decided to undertake the gruelling Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge in support of the 2026 West Wales Festival.

As with all plans it took time to gain momentum and it was not until the end of 2023 when W. Bro. Stephen Roscoe began to assemble 2 teams; climbers and essential supporters, to undertake the adventure, from a broad age range and walking abilities all underpinning and embodying the very values of Freemasonry; Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. Peterwell Lodge Cheque Presentations
At the banquet following his installation, the new Worshipful Master of Peterwell Lodge, W Bro Aled Williams, said that all the raffle money raised during his year in office would be used to support local good causes.

This was recently put into practice when he made two presentations. He presented a cheque for £400 to Mrs Dorothy Williams, organiser of the Lampeter Young at Heart Club and this was accompanied by a cheque for a further £600 from the Province.
The Lampeter Young at Heart Club holds monthly afternoon teas and organises coach trips for the Senior Citizens of the Lampeter area and the residents of the local care home. For more on this story click here.

Tenby Surf Lifesaving Club
Members of Tenby Lodge presented a cheque for £600 to Tenby Surf Lifesaving Club after their training session last week.
Lodge Charity Steward Steve Thurgood said, “This donation was part of a major programme of support by the Freemasons of West Wales for hard working charities across the whole area that provide excellent community service voluntarily, particularly to young people.” For more on this story click here.
