En ce debut de printemps nous vous proposons un circuit verdoyant de 10 kms.
Le petit lac de Zaarour sera notre point de départ qui nous mènera à Wadi el Delb. Après la visite de ruines romaines à "Al Jawzeh" nous arriverons à léglise Notre Dame de Khelleh dans la vallée. De là nous descendrons vers le pont de Khelleh que nous traverserons avant de remonter la vallée et arriver à Baskinta.
Un dejeuner bien mérité, préparé par Mme Mireille Tebechrani, nous attendra au village.
C’est sur la section 15 du LMT que ça se passera.
Cette rando  fait partie d'une série d'évements organisés par Lebanese Adventure en partenariat avec la Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA).

Dear friends,
 
In this early spring we propose  a green hike of 10 kms.
The small lake of Zaarour will be our starting point leading  to Wadi el Delb. After visiting the Roman ruins at "Al Jawzeh" we will arrive at Notre Dame de Khelleh in the valley. From there we will descend to the bridge of Khelleh before going up  to Baskinta. A well-deserved lunch, prepared by Mrs. Mireille Tebechrani, will be waiting for us in the village.
This trail is on section 15 of the LMT .
This hike is part of a series of events organized by Lebanese Adventure in partnership with the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA).

Difficulty : medium with an uphill towards the end

What to bring: 
Hiking shoes, back pack,water, sunglasses, sun screen, cap, fleece, wind breaker.
 
Cost: 55$ (83.000LL) covering guides, transportation, Lunch and insurance. (Kindly bring the exact change).
 
 
 
Meeting: at  7:30 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, turn right towards Pain d'Or. The Parking is the 1st one on you left. Please, be on time!
