Dear Neighbors,

Election Day is this coming — Tuesday, November 7th. This year, there are three ways to cast your ballot: Vote by Mail, in-person early voting, or at your polling place on Election Day.
Vote by Mail (VBM) Information
To submit your completed VBM, you can either mail it, drop it off in one of Hoboken’s three secure drop boxes, or drop it at the Board of Elections:
1. Mail. Return your VBM by placing it in your nearest mailbox using the U.S. Postal Service. The ballot must be postmarked on or before November 7th and received by the Board of Elections
2. Secure drop box. Hoboken has three secure drop box locations:
  • Hoboken City Hall at 94 Washington St. on Newark Street;
  • at Stevens University Gateway Building at Hudson & Sixth Street
  • at Monroe Street between Seventh & Eighth Street.
3. In person drop-off at the Hudson County Board of Elections at 257 Cornelison Ave., 4th Floor, in Jersey City. The Board of Elections will be offering extended hours on Saturday, November 4th, from 9 am to 1 pm for VBM drop offs.
All Vote by Mail ballots must be returned or placed in a secure drop box by Tuesday, Nov. 7th before 8 pm.

Early Voting Is Underway!  Early Voting Information
Registered voters can cast their ballot in person, using a voting machine, during the nine-day period prior to Election Day at a time most convenient for their schedule.
Hoboken City Hall’s first-floor conference room is the City’s early voting location. Voters should enter on Newark Street. The early voting location will be open until November 5th. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. No appointment is necessary.

Election Day In-Person Voting Information
Residents also can cast their ballot at their registered polling locations. Polls are open on November 7th from 6 am to 8 pm.
Polling locations can be found here or here
For questions about your polling place, contact the Hudson County Board of Elections at boardofelections@hcnj.us or call (201) 369-3470.
5th Ward residents can find me on the ballot at position 3E.
Thank you for voting,
