Pour ce dimanche 9 février nous vous proposons une rando dans la région de Dlebta dans le Kesrouan.
C'est une randonnée d'un niveau moyen avancé, qui montre encore la beauté cachée de la région du Kesrouan à quelques kilomètres de Beyrouth mais avec un dépaysement total.
Notre rando commence par un vieil escalier de pierre qui monte vers la forêt ; déjà le ton est donné, puis comme pour nous faire une surprise de temps en temps une ancienne maison libanaise surgit comme un signe des temps; durant notre montée qui est assez dure nous découvrirons une forêt abritant une biodiversité étonnante; au bout du chemin, essoufflé nous débouchons sur Jouar Al Bouachek (Le dos de l'épervier); ensuite nous amorçons une descente en pente douce vers le couvent Saidet el Hakleh (Notre Dame des champs) qui abrite une très ancienne église à visiter, puis nous suivons un sentier muletier et montons vers une croix avant de redescendre vers Dlebta pour retrouver le bus.

Dénivelé positif: 500 m répartis sur 2 courtes et fortes montées
Niveau: moyen avancé
A prévoir: chaussures de marche, sac à dos, gourde (pleine), casse croûte (sandwich, chocolat, fruits secs...), lunettes de soleil, crème solaire, pull et coupe vent, chapeau.
Le prix : par personne est de 25$ (ou 38,000 L.L.) incluant le transport en bus, l'assurance, les guides et l’entrée à la réserve. (Apportez la monnaie exacte)
Faisabilité : Il faut être au minimum 15 inscrits pour que la sortie ait lieu.
Le rendez-vous est à 8 am précise au parking qui est près de l’urgence de l'hôpital du Sacré Cœur à Hazmieh. Pour y arriver prendre la bifurcation qui mène vers le palais présidentiel devant l'hypermarché Abou Khalil, ensuite prendre la première bifurcation à gauche en direction du Sacré Cœur. For this Sunday 9th of February, we are proposing a hike in Dlebta region in the Kesrouan.
It is a medium to advanced level hike that still shows the hidden beauty in the region of Kesrouan, with a total change of scenery although not far from Beirut. Our hike starts by climbing an old stone stairway which leads towards the forest; and from time to time some old Lebanese houses spring up from the past; during our ascent which is quite hard we will discover a forest with an astonishing biodiversity; at the end of the road, out of breath, we will reach on Jouar Al Bouachek; then we will start a sloping downhill towards the convent of Saidet el Hakleh (our Lady of the fields) a very ancient church to visit, and then we will follow a mule trail and climb it towards a cross before going downhill to Dlebta to find the bus.

Uphill: 500 m split up into 2 short and hard climb
Level: medium to advanced
What to bring: walking shoes, back pack, water, light meal (sandwich, dried fruits,..), sunglasses, sun screen, lipstick, hat, wind breaker (K-way), fleece jacket.
Cost: 25$ (or 38 000 LBP) covering guides, transportation, insurance and reserve entrance. (Kindly bring the exact change).
Feasibility: A minimum of 15 persons is required.
The meeting place is at 8 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, take the road of the Presidential palace in front of the Hypermarché Abou Khalil Hazmieh, then the first turn left towards the hospital. Please, be on time! !! (see map)
