TSE All-Share Index
The TSE All-Share Index ended the
trading week slightly higher, closing up 0.24% on the day at 77,189. The
majority of sectors recorded positive returns, with Machinery & Electric
Equipment (+3.35%) adding the most. Automotive (-0.67%) sector saw the
largest decline and posted the highest daily trade volume, with IRR 147
billion (approx. USD 3.8 million) worth of trades. Today the companies making
the most impact on the All-Share Index were led by Mobarakeh Steel Company
(FOLD +1.72%), Iran Mobile Telecommunication Company (HMRZ +1.24%) and Bandar
Abbas Oil Refining Company (PNBA +2.25%). Silica Sand Manufacturing Company
recorded the highest trade volume, with IRR 117
billion (approx. USD 3.0 million) of shares traded. In total 980 million
securities were exchanged on the TSE for IRR 3,488 billion (approx. USD 92
million), up 32% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty
largest companies by market capitalization edged up 0.28% to close at 3,122.
Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company (PNBA +2.25%) was the biggest gainer of the
index, while Parsian Oil & Gas Development Company (PASN -1.56%) was the
weakest. The total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 377 billion
(approx. USD 10 million), a gain of 30% from the previous trading
session.
