A Very Special Installation Meeting

Saturday 18th June 2016 will be the 25th birthday of the Peter Drewett Daylight Lodge of Progress and at a very special Installation meeting to celebrate the occasion, The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Stephen Hookey, is intending to retain the gavel when it is proffered and conduct the ceremony with the assistance of the entire Provincial Team. Space in the Temple and at the Installation Banquet is likely to be at a premium, so early booking is essential. George Grey - 50 Year Presentation
|
Cleddau Lodge in Haverfordwest is the Mother Lodge of our Provincial Grand Master and so it was a particular pleasure on Wednesday 18th May 2016 for RW Bro Stephen Hookey to make a presentation to a fellow Past Master of Cleddau Lodge, W Bro George Grey. The Grey family have been one of the cornerstones of Cleddau Lodge for many years, with George's brothers Jimmy and Douglas also having served as Master of the Lodge, as has his nephew Andy Grey too. |

The presentation on 18th May was followed by a dinner on 26th May to celebrate 50 years in Masonry for W Bro George Grey and 60 years in Masonry for W Bro Osmond Shearn. Between them they have a joint age of 186 years, with 112 years as Freemasons, that's what you call experience!! |
Provincial Church Service

The Provincial Church Service will be held on Sunday 12th June 2016, at The Church of St Nicholas and St John, Monkton Priory, Pembroke. The service will commence at 3.00pm and it is the wish of the Provincial Grand Master that as many Brethren and their families support the Province by attending the service. Provincial Golf Society 2015 - 2016
|
Another enjoyable year of Provincial Golf was concluded at Milford Haven Golf Club on Friday 22nd April 2016. The full unedited report from W Bro Mike Bradney along with photos taken by W Bro Clive Pitten can be found here. The winner on the day was W Bro Chris Harding (pictured above), but the overall golfer of the year was Bro Danny Overend from Loyal Welsh Lodge, who also won the Tom Hughes Memorial Cup for being the Champion Lodge of the year. The Provincial Grand Master RW Bro Stephen Hookey was in attendance to present the prizes, and a great time was had by all. |
