Pour ce Dimanche 20 Mai 2012, c'est vers la région de Ehmej que nous nous pointerons.
Notre rando commencera a l’église St Georges de Bkarta (Ehmej) pour nous diriger vers Jaj notre destination finale. Nous aurons tantôt des montées tantôt des descentes qui rappellent les montagnes russes et au niveau de Jabal el Mablous, nous affronterons quelques bonnes montées.
En s’approchant de Jaj, nous aurons l’occasion de visiter des trous ou la neige y est éternelle .

Faisabilité : Nous ne pourrons pas partir à moins de 15 personnes inscrites.
Le rendez-vous est à 7:30 am précise au parking qui est près de l’urgence de l'hôpital du Sacré Cœur à Hazmieh. Pour y arriver prendre la bifurcation qui mène vers le palais présidentiel devant l'hypermarché Abou Khalil, ensuite prendre la première bifurcation à gauche en direction du Sacré Cœur. This Sunday 20 of may 2012, we are heading to Ehmej to begin our crossing toward Jaj.
Beginning at St Georges church in Bkarta (Ehmej), we will face many ups and downs reminding us of the “Russian mountains”.
When reaching Jabal el Mablous, we will face some serious uphills and before reaching Jaj we will visit some snow holes hidden between the rocky nature.

Distance: 8.5 km
Total ascent: 558 m
Total descent: 497m
Type of terrain: footpath
Level of difficulty: Advanced
What to bring:
Walking shoes, sunglasses, sun screen, hat, light meal, water, back pack, wind breaker (K-way), sweater.
Cost: 25$ covering guides, transportation, insurance. (Kindly bring the exact change)
Feasibility: A minimum of 15 persons is required.
Meeting: The meeting place is at 7:30 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, take the road of the Presidential palace in front of the Hypermarché Abou Khalil Hazmieh, then the first turn left towards the hospital. Please, be on time! (see map)
