Dear Macro Members,
I just wanted to send out a quick reminder that poster session proposals for our workshop on June 22, 2013 are due by May 1 IF you want to request travel funding! Poster sessions proposals will be accepted until June 1, but our travel funding will be set before that date.
I also wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the topics and presentations on this year's program. Our workshop features a broad range of topics this year including but not limited to composition techniques and macro analysis, a panel session on useful music apps for students and group work in the classroom, music theory and mathematics, chromatic mediant chains and circle of fifth progressions, rhythm transformations for dictation skills, sessions involving analysis and performance, and crossing of the senses in music. Something for everyone at this year's workshop!
