So it's October and that means we are near crazy with activity trying to get ready for Quilt Market and Festival!
But this year, our new assistant (at right) has been an incredibly helpful asset as we push toward our deadline.

Donna Lucas-Mudd is back & this time she's worked her magic on our Bellagio Bag. Donna chose a contemporary upholstery remnant for the exterior. I'm thinking that Donna is probably the talk of Felton, CA when she carries this beauty! Here's a peek under the Flap.

This Quattro was created by Edna Fitzgerald of Tyler, TX. Edna had this fabric for months before deciding to use for this bag and I'd say she saved it for just the right project! |

This Bellagio Bag by Celia Oliver of the UK has a distinctive Parisian feel! This bag has quickly become Celia's favorites and not only that... now
it seems that almost ALL of the female members of her family now want
one too! As for me, I'm fascinated with the flap material which looks a bit like cork! :) And here's a peek under that Flap! |

And finally, it seems that Anne Foster of Burlington, NC is a cat lover... of the LARGE variety that is! This "big cat" print does wonders for our Quattro pattern and I like that Anne mixed a little green into this palette! |

Today is Sunday, the 11th day of October, the 284th day of 2015 , and there's only 81 days remaining in this year! That's scary, no? And here's something else that's a little scary... Did you know that it was 40 years ago today that one of my all-time favorite TV shows premiered. That's right, Saturday Night Live which featured live skits, commercial parodies and news satire is officially 40 years ago today! And you know what? It seems like everyone I talk to has a different favorite character from this iconic show, but for me it was Gilda Radner.
And if today just happens to be your birthday, then you are in good company since pop-singer Daryl Hall is also celebrating his special day today, so here's a great big "Happy Birthday" to YOU from all of us here at StudioKat Designs.
