TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day down 1.90% at 1,285,892. Rubber & Plastics (+2.51%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Oil Products (-3.60%). Automotive (-0.29%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 18,251 billion (approx. USD 73 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (PKLJ -4.21%) National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI -4.74%) and Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD -4.41%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -4.32%) was the most traded stock with IRR 3,251 billion (approx. USD 13 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 106,497 billion (approx. USD 428 million), up 2% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 61,842 for a loss of 3.20%. The biggest riser was Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (HKSJ +2.02%) while Tehran Oil Refining Co. (PTEH -4.76%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 30,838 billion (approx. USD 123 million), up 22% from the previous trading session. |
