News Diary Notice: Joint Media Briefing Tuesday, 27 September 2016
What: Six national networks, representing 1,600 Irish charities, are hosting a special press briefing to:
- reveal the impact of the recent controversies in the charity sector (the results of a new survey of 65 charities will be unveiled);
- call on Government ahead of Budget 2017 to prioritise the restoration of budgets for services for for people with disabilities, carers, young people and rural communities;
- unveil the impact of the funding crises in the charity sector on services users.
