TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index edged up 0.15% today, closing at 85,394. Paper Products (+2.35%) led gainers among sectors while Non-Metallic Ores (-0.37%) was the weakest, dragged down by Hamadan Glass Co. (SHMD -2.5%) and Ardakan Industrial Ceramics Co. (ARDK -1.12%). The most traded sector was Base Metals (+0.42%), with IRR 249 billion (approx. USD 6.2 million) of shares exchanged. Stocks making the most impact on the All-Share Index included Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +0.7%), Tehran Oil Refining Co. (PTEH +1.69%) and Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (GOLG +0.85%). Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. also posted the highest trading volume among individual stocks of IRR 90 billion (approx. USD 2.2 million). The market’s total traded value fell 2% from yesterday to IRR 1,082 billion (approx. USD 27 million).

The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed up 0.21% at 3,496. Khorasan Steel Co. (FKAS +2.15%) was the biggest gainer among the top 30s, while Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Co. (CHML -0.68%) fell the most. The total traded value of the top 30s reached IRR 305 billion (approx. USD 7.6 million), down 1.2% from Saturday.
