Second Annual Health Fair at
SLO Natural Foods Co-op
Rain or Shine!

Please join us on Saturday, February 20th from 11 AM to 3 PM here at the Co-op for our Second Annual Health Fair. We'll have a vendor fair featuring both local and national brands, free samples, raffles (including a beach cruiser bicycle!), and special discounts on some of our most popular supplement and cosmetic lines. Derma-E will be here with their UV photography unit which makes any hidden sun damage visible. In addition, we'll be hosting a blood drive with United Blood Services. If you'd like to make a blood donation you can sign up on the UBS website or you can sign up at the Co-op in person or by calling us at 544.7928 to reserve a time.

We're also thrilled to host Jordan Rubin, founder of Garden of Life, Beyond Organic, and Get Real Nutrition for a free health seminar. Jordan is the New York Times bestselling author of The Maker's Diet and he will share how to improve digestion, super charge your immune system, and jump-start your metabolism. This seminar at 1:00 PM is free, but please RSVP to us at the Co-op (544.7928) so we know how many people to expect. Jordan will also be signing copies of his latest book, Planet Heal Thyself: The Revolution of Regeneration in Body, Mind and Planet.
We hope to see you here for this fun and inspiring event! Rain will not cancel.
Coming Soon: Chair Massage at the Co-op with Jack Parker, CMT
Certified Massage Therapist Jack Parker will begin offering chair massages here at the Co-op on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning Mon, Feb 8th. On Mondays he'll be here from 1pm to 5pm and on Wednesdays from 2pm to 6pm.
We're looking forward to having Jack here at the Co-op. Some of you might recognize him from New Frontiers, where he practiced for several years.
