For the 5th consecutive year, Portland Story Theater proudly presents the New Works Solo Festival, Singlehandedly. What keeps listeners coming back year after year? It’s the combination of meaningful content, skillful use of space, and charismatic, dynamic storytelling. And that's exactly what Singlehandedly delivers. In fact, Singlehandedly is the only festival in the world dedicated exclusively to long-form personal narrative.

Every night listeners are treated to new works presented by some of the region’s most compelling storytellers. The focus is on local talent with the addition of a special, nationally-acclaimed guest artist-in-residence creating an experience that celebrates storytelling as solo performance. Singlehandedly is funded in part by a generous grant from RACC (Regional Arts & Culture Council).
