BHAF AGM

Dear Allotmenteer,

You are invited to our Annual General Meeting.

The Brighton and Hove Allotment Federation Annual General Meeting will be at
7pm on Wednesday 29th March
at
The Brighthelm Centre, North Road, Brighton

The agenda will include a review of the progress of the allotment strategy, and the election of BHAF officers.

This year our guest speaker is Laurie Jackson from 'Buglife'. Laurie is the pollinator and wildlife advisor for Buglife, which is the Invertebrate Conservation Trust. Her talk is titled 'Pollinators and Allotment Plots - The Perfect Partnership' and will explain how attracting various pollinators to our plots and keeping them safe helps us as growers and helps the wider environment. Many invertebrates are in serious danger and allotments can play a huge part in their conservation.

Plot holders, co-workers and community plot members in Brighton and Hove, are invited to attend. Cheese and Wine provided!

Please forward any agenda items and any nominations for Federation
Officers or Committee members to bhaf.contact@gmail.com or by post to
BHAF Secretary, c/o Stanmer Nursery, Stanmer Park, Brighton, BN1 9SE
