Spotlight: Lightnin'
Loops When Six Flags purchased
Great Adventure, the first major new attraction added was a state of the
art roller coaster, more thrilling than anything the park had seen
before. Arrow Launch Loop coasters were something many parks were
installing in the 1970's, but Great Adventure took the concept to the next
level building two interlocking loops.
With the end of the
1980's, Lightnin' Loops was no longer the popular ride it once was, and was
removed to make way for the next generation of state of the art roller
coasters.
