Utah V7 Pro 2011 Historic Map Set Released
In addition to scanning and providing the latest map releases, we have been scanning historic copies of Western Topographic Maps from Bill Hunt's extensive historic collection. The brand new 9-DVD Utah Historic Set includes every map included in previous map sets, plus 794 additional historic maps at various scales. There is a complete list of all the maps, organized by scale and type with overview maps [ here ].
Some of my favorite maps are the original 'Reconnaissance Maps' produced in the late 1800's from data collected by King, Powell and Hayden. For a specific example checkout [ Ashley UT 1901 ], or browse the entire list of 250K maps at [ 250 K Historic Maps ] and the 125 K maps at [ 125 Historic Maps ].
There are also 220 15-minute (1:62,500 scale) maps [ 15-minute ] maps.
If you are still running All Topo Maps V7 Pro Utah from CD's, this might be a great opportunity to ditch the CD's, get a new box AND pickup an additional 1,788 maps (over the 2007 Utah CD Set.)
