We know you love the Practically Perfect Theme Packs from Emma's Yarn and we just received a shipment with a bunch of new themes as well as some old favorites. Each theme pack is dyed with its own cordinated color story making them great to use either on their own or with a larger skein of contrasting yarn. some of our favorite patterns for these packs are Tropical Dilemma by Laura Dobratz, Emma's Dried Flowers by Dana Fehrenbach, and Southern Sunset Cowl (crochet.) |
The September Crazy Beautiful Color of the month from Emma's Yarns is falling straight into Autumn with a gorgeous blend of brick reds, yellowy golds, and mossy greens.
As usual, the color plays well with a huge variety of coordinating colors! Pictured here (top to bottom) with Himalayan Salt, Drops of Jupiter, Thai Tea, Where'd that Man-Go, Earthling, Take a Hike, Kale, and Roasted.

Celebrate ReBelle's coming of age with our 18th anniversary celebration!! We will be doing all the same shenanigans- 10% off your entire purchase for wishing us a happy birthday, a special sale only yarn dyed for you by us, some thematic activities (does anyone need to register to vote?), prizes, and a good dose of general silliness.
This year's sale-only yarn is 400yds/100g of fingering weight in a mature blend of 70% superwash merino, 15% mulberry silk, and 15% yak - pure luxury!! We have had so much fun dyeing it up and coming up with adulthood themed colorways like Paying Bills, Donating Plasma, and Day at the Races. We will have 64 handdyed skeins and 16 undyed skeins available for $18 each. These usually go pretty fast so there is a limit of 1 handdyed skein and 1 undyed skein per crafter (and yes, the discount will apply to these!!!)
Thank you for 18 incredible years!!

For September's shop KAL, we will be doing another designer focused project this time using the designs of Joji Locatelli. There are tons of designs to choose from including projects from past knit alongs like the Odyssey Shawl and there are tons of new options that we haven't tried. This KAL will be happening at the same time as Joji's Fall KAL so we strongly suggest you jump over to her site and register for that as well. She will be offering prizes, challenges, and additional chatter on a special Ravelry board. You can register for the official KAL here.
All ReBelle knit alongs are free and open to the public. You are welcome to attend as many or as few of the KAL sessions as you like.

Knitted Mandala Spinner
This will be a great first lace class, with instructions in both text and chart formats. Susan's spinner is made from an ombré fingering weight yarn, and mounted in an 8” ring, but you can make this in any weight yarn you happen to have on hand. Susan will be teaching you the lace knitting portion of the project and at the end you can choose to leave it as a doily or facecloth as originally intended, or mount it to an 8" ring to create a really cool suncatcher.

Quynn Hat
Quynn by Wooly Wormhead has long been a shop favorite hat pattern. Knitted in worsted or Aran weight with clever ear flaps, so it’s not just warm, but it’s fun to knit. If you can knit and purl, Susan can teach you to make this hat. It's a good first project on circular and double point needles. And, fair warning, it comes in every size imaginable, and you’ll want to make one of these for everyone! (Seriously, we have knitted dozens of these between us, we can't stop.)
You will need the Quynn Hat pattern by Woolly Wormhead for this class.

Emotional Support Chicken
Everyone goes through hard times... and deserves an Emotional Support Chicken to help them through it. Make it from worsted weight yarn to make it chicken sized, but you can knit it with any size yarn you want. Use that special skein that you’ve been hoarding (I’m talking to you!), or use up lots of bits and bobs of leftovers. Either way, you’ll have fun, learn how to work short rows, and have a faithful friend when the class is over.

How to Read Crochet Patterns and Charts
Confused by all the abbreviations and wondering what those asterisks mean? Come learn to decipher the language of crochet patterns and charts to level up your crochet skills. We will be covering all the parts of a crochet pattern to see what information is included, translating most of those tiny abbreviations, and identifying the symbols that make up charts.
This class is suited for crocheters of all skills who are curious to know more about what patterns say and how they are structured. Bring your favorite yarn and hook, and play with some pattern excerpts to see what they make!

Gourdgeous Crochet Pumpkins
Conjure the spirit of Autumn while crocheting this simple, sweet pumpkin. The pattern is beginner-friendly, if you can do single and half double crochet, we can teach you the rest.
You can make this project in any size, but we recommend using worsted weight yarn with an H hook or chunky yarn with a J hook for your first pumpkin. This project is an excellent stash buster, but if you need supplies, we will gladly point you in the right direction.

Intro to Spindle Spinning
Learn how yarn is made! We’ll talk about how fiber is prepared and spun, and you will get a chance to play with wool cards and different types of spindles as you learn one of humankind’s oldest and most important skills — how to make yarn. You’ll leave this class with both new skills and a renewed appreciation to what goes into making all that beautiful yarn that you love.
We’ll provide the wool, wool cards, and spindles to use in class. This is an absolute beginner class so no prior skills or experience are needed.
