Matt Richtel Runaway Booger
February 4th, at 11:00am West Portal Branch
San Francisco Public Library
Friends,
Do you know Matt Richtel?
Some of you may recognize him as a Pultizer Prize-winning technology writer for the New York Times.
Some of you may be fans of his fast-paced thrillers.
Or you may have read his compelling non-fiction book, A Deadly Wandering.
Or perhaps he's your neighbor, or his kids go to school with yours, because Matt lives right here in our neighborhood.
So, I'm guessing a lot of you know Matt, but forget everything you know, because I want to show you a new side of Matt Richtel--that of debut picture book author and the mind behind Runaway Booger.
I'm not going to lie to you, I've been having a hoot promoting this book!
Yes, it sounds ridiculous.
This book IS ridiculous, and silly, and a little bit gross.
And like Matt Richtel, it is sure to delight young readers.
Please come join us for a very special event at the West Portal Branch of the San Francisco Public Library this Saturday, February 4th, at 11:00am.
Matt will be there.
He will read.
He may sing.
There will be talk of creativity.
And I have heard rumors of "snot making" from the librarians.
How that works, I don't know, but our librarians are awesome and have many tricks up their sleeves.
If you and the kids are feeling stir crazy after another rainy week, please come out and join us in celebrating Matt Richtel and Runaway Booger.
I guarantee you'll have a good time.
Best,
Susan Tunis
