Dear classic car enthusiast,
 
Since the publication of our previous newsletter over thirty newly arrived classic and sports cars for sale have been photographed by yours truly. Visiting the garages I learned that several car enthusiasts had decided to invest a part of their savings in a high quality classic automobile for the bank interest rates have reached an all time low. That is one of the reasons why only 23 cars are presented in todays newsletter. Above you already spotted a nice detail of one of the greatest icons in the automobile history: a pristine 1962 Jaguar E-type 3.8 Litre coupe from the first series which is for sale at Classic Cars Friesland. Today you will feel delighted by the diversity of the selection; many grand European brands will be in the spot light. Of course you will find our British evergreens of Austin Healey, Jaguar, MG and Triumph but you may also appreciate gorgeous top quality examples by BMW, Citroën, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Lancia and Porsche. Also presented is one of my boyhood favourites: a rare 1973 Ford Capri RS 2600 in super original condition! At the end of this letter you will again find a list of newly arrived automobiles which will be photographed shortly.

Mercedes 190 SL, year 1958. Colour Graphite grey with a beige leather interior and a beige soft-top. This magnificent Mercedes-Benz 190 SL was imported from the USA to the Netherlands in the year 2013. Then a thorough ‘nut and bolt’ restoration started. The automobile is in superb top condition, concourse, and the car drives perfectly!

In the year 2005 the automobile was imported to the Netherlands. This fantastic Lancia Appia GTE Zagato is in excellent condition and the car drives perfectly. Jaguar XK 120 OTS (roadster), year 1954. Colour black with a red leather interior and red carpet. This fantastic Jaguar XK 120 Open Two Seater (OTS, also named roadster) was extensively and ‘body off’ restored in the years 104 and 2015 to factory original specifications! The bodywork shows perfect panel fit and crisp lines, the top class paint is glass-like, the interior beautifully upholstered and trimmed and the chrome absolutely perfect. JAGUAR XK 140 SE DHC, 1956

 
Jaguar XK 140 SE DHC, year 1956. Colour dark blue with a grey leather interior and grey carpet. Black mohair hood and black mohair hood cover. This magnificent Jaguar XK 140 SE Drop Head Coupe (DHC) was sold new in New York, USA, in November 1956. A Heritage certificate is present. In the year 1996 the car was imported to the Netherlands. Then an extensive ‘body-off’ restoration started which was carried out professionally by a Dutch Jaguar specialist firm, the work was completed in 1997.
