Logical Fleadh, a Chicago-based Celtic-rock band will add US champion Scottish fiddler Tim Macdonald to its line-up for its September performances.

Logical Fleadh's high-spirited music pairs traditional Scottish and Irish fiddle tunes and songs with a driving rock rhythm section. The band will feature MacDonald (fiddle), Ethan Sellers (guitar/vocals), Rich Chiuppi (flute/vocals), Nathan Britsch (bass), and Pat Buzby (bodhran/drum kit).

Logical Fleadh is a hybrid of two bands led by guitarist/singer Sellers - the traditional Irish/Scottish group Character Fleadh and prog/jam rock outfit Tautologic. The group opened for Gaelic Storm at Shocktop Oyster Fest this past fall, and packed its St. Pat's season schedules for the last two years.
