Haftarah Plethora
Rick and Larry discuss alternative endings in the Haftarah Plethora for the Second Haftarah of Admonition. Larry prefers the S’fardi to the Ashkenazi ending because it focuses on the theme of teshuva while Rick likes it better for the trope. Both agree that unlike last week, Jeremiah pulls no punches in his accusations against the House of Jacob, using derogatory insults and bitter sarcasm to convey his message. Shabbat Shalom and Chodesh Tov!
