April 26, 2020
We're excited to share another week of news & ideas with our MAiZE family. There never seems to be a shortage of ideas and the truth is that some of the best originate with all of you! So, if you ever have an idea you'd like us to pass along to the group, please just send it our way. Also, please remember that we'll be archiving these ideas on the siteowner web site, so that you can go back and view them whenever you like.
Register for the April 28 Webinars
Just a reminder to register for Part 1 and Part 2 (separate registrations) of Tuesday's webinar. Read below for details on the two separate parts, focused on thinking differently and innovative problem solving.

Guest presenters include Disney alums Dan Cockerell and Lee Kitchen. We are so grateful to Dan and Lee for generously donating their time.
Part 1 (from 2 to 2:30 pm ET) Register at the link below. This discussion will include thoughts from Dan, with time allowed for Q&A:
Part 2 will be an interactive creative problem solving exercise from roughly 2:30-4:00 ET with Lee. Business as UNusual - Creative & Innovation, Disney Style! During this highly interactive 90-minute session, Lee will give us tips and tricks on how to think differently about our business using a combination of tools, behaviors and fun exercises. Those joining should be ready to participate and collaborate with each other, to get the most out of this session. Register in advance for this portion at:
Dan Cockerell: A seasoned executive who spent 26 years working at Disney before retiring last year as the vice president of the Magic Kingdom, Dan’s journey first began in the Walt Disney World College Program in 1989 and led him through a variety of positions everywhere from Florida to France! A former speaker for Disney Institute, we were blessed to hear from Dan recently when he spoke to our MAiZE family as the keynote speaker at the 2020 Corn Party.
Lee Kitchen: During Lee’s 32 years at The Walt Disney Company, he helped create some of their most impactful marketing campaigns, memorable guest experiences and real-time operational efficiency changes. As a Creativity and Innovation Catalyst for Disney's in-house creative problem solving agency, he led the problem-solving facilitation process around both creative and strategic challenges across many Disney lines of business. Venturing out on his own in 2018, Lee now serves companies hungry for innovation, internal creativity and fresh thinking.
For those unable to listen to the webinar live, we will be recording it and sending out a link afterwards (though the Part 2 portion will not be entirely recorded). Our next webinar the following week will likely be an open Q&A with MAiZE farms. If you have a topic/idea your farm would like to share an example of, please email kamille@themaize.com.
