C’est une Saison privilégiée pour marcher à Jabal Moussa : L’automne avec ses couleurs chatoyantes sont un vrai régal pour les yeux et un plaisir pour les sens.
C’est à coté de la section 12 du LMT que nous vous proposons une rando qui vous fera voyager dans le temps en découvrant les vestiges et traces de nos ailleux dans cette région isolée. Nous évoluerons à travers une forêt dense parsemée de clairières tout en admirant le paysage karstique de la montagne environnante. Au programme : Une ancienne citerne, ruine d’un temple Romain et d’anciennes maisons. Nous débuterons notre marche à Qehmez et se terminera à l’entrée de Mchati
Cette rando fait partie d'une série d'évènements organisés par Lebanese Adventure en partenariat avec la Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA).

It is a privileged season to walk in Jabal Moussa.
Autumn with its shimmering colors is a real treat for the eyes and a pleasure for the senses.
Next to section 12 of the LMT we offer you a hike that will take you back in time discovering the remains and traces of our ancestors in this isolated region. We will move through a dense forest dotted with clearings while admiring the karst landscape of the surrounding mountain. On the program: An old cistern, ruin of a Roman temple and old houses. We will begin our walk at Qehmez and will end at the entrance of Mchati

Hike lenghth : 8 km
Duration : 4h30 with stops
Total uphill : 200 mts
Difficulty : Moderate to advanced
What to bring:
Hiking shoes, back pack,water, sunglasses, sun screen, cap, fleece, wind breaker and a picnic.
Cost: 40$ (60.000LL) covering guides, transportation , insurance. (Kindly bring the exact change).
Meeting: at 7:30 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, turn right towards Pain d'Or. The Parking is the 1st one on you left. Please, be on time!
