ART BELOW REGENT'S PARK, ONE WEEK LEFT TO APPLY.
PLATFORM EXHIBITION AND GALLERY SHOW, OCTOBER 2012

We are still open for submissions for our biggest and most important show of 2012 'Art Below Regent's Park'.
This October we are transforming a whole platform at Regent's Park underground station into a public gallery space. Whatever your creative background you are invited to enter.

This show has been planned to coincide with Frieze art fair, London’s biggest and most prestigious art event.
Frieze draws thousands of curators, artists, collectors, gallerists and critics through this station each year, making this an amazing marketing opportunity for you and your work.

As an Art Below exhibitor your chosen piece of work will also be on show at nearby Gallery Different, located in the heart of Fitzrovia, with over 1800 square feet of exhibition space.  There will be a private view drinks reception on the 11th October for you and your guests to attend, followed by a one week long exhibition open to the public.

If you wish to grasp this unique opportunity to exhibit in 'Art Below Regent's Park' please click here to view further details

If your application is succesful you will also recieve a complimentary ticket to the Frieze art fair (11–14 October 2012)

Please confirm by email with the requirements as specified in the guidelines to submissions@artbelow.org.uk
by 10th September 2012.

Breathe life into our Facebook group and win a poster space on the on the London Underground to show your work.
It may have come to your attention recently that Facebook are either upgrading the old facebook groups into the new design, or they will be 'archived'.

Well this has come as 'a big smack in the face' for Art Below who have had a facebook group since 2006 and have gradually built a healthy and active following of a few thousand.  Now, thanks to Facebook 'archiving' our group we have a group of exactly 10 members!! So First of all I want to say a genuine 'thank you' to those 10 dedicated members for hanging on in there.

So in an attempt to claw our way back and to co-inside with Social Media Week, we have decided to launch a new initiative to breathe life and love into this once powerful mother ship of social media!  For every 1000 new members, Art Below will award 1 free poster space (1m x 1.5m) on the London Underground.  To grab a chance of winning that poster space,  simply become a member of the Art Below facebook group and upload a piece of your own artwork onto the Wall.  We are open to all creative backgrounds including design, fashion, illustration, sculpture, photography and any other ones that I've missed out.

For every 1000 new group members we will set a loose theme, starting with the theme of THE DIGITAL AGE.  Here's one I did earlier! We will take into account how many 'likes' each image gets, but it wont be the central deciding factor that will persuade our judges (to be announced) if you are the winner.  As well as being awarded a 1 meter x 1.5 meter poster space in a  London Underground station for 2 weeks to show your work, you will also receive a A2 lambda print of your winning design, you will  be announced as the winner on www.artbelow.org.uk, on our media partners sites including ArtLyst.com, and ArtRabbit.com and of course on the Art Below facebook group site!
