CLASSICAR GARAGE NEWSLETTER 170, 29 SEPTEMBER 2021 |
|
Dear classic car enthusiast,
Especially during the holidays yours truly is inseparable from his own classic cars. In 2021 my wife and I made several unforgettable 'road trips' on fantastic driver roads, through wonderful sceneries, and picturesque villages, to beautiful destinations in Europe. The impressions and experiences are 100% analogous and the 'road trip' adventure already starts with choosing the destination and the preparation of the car. As a car enthusiast you will not get any closer to the essence of individual motorized travel. Also not to be missed are the organized historic touring rallies that give you and your co-driver / navigator a real thrill and the special feeling of having been away from home for a week after one or two days! Below you will find a spendid selection of beautiful vintage and classic cars that will give you this special feeling of 'old school' freedom and adventure. Our garages assist you with advice and assistance on the purchase, sale, and full maintenance of your dream classic! "Enjoy the Ride!"
With best regards,

PORSCHE 912 SWB BODY RESTORATION | |
This 1965 Porsche 912 (F series) bodywork will be fully restored to like new condition for a client from Switzerland. The body arrived in the Classic Job workshop fully stripped, and in a very rusty and poor condition, only the rooftop is free of rust. After a full inspection of the structure we found that this short wheelbase Porsche 912 was modied to long wheelbase at some point in time. Inspect the photos closely to see the not original seams and poorly executed old repairs. This Porsche F-series body is the worst example we had in for restoration up to this moment. Our craftsmen will rebuild this Porsche 912 body to factory original short wheelbase specifications.
