Our White Paper will soon be released

Watch for our white paper that will be published for the benefit of the people who drink and use the water from the Columbus public water system.  One of our issues has been to convince the city of Columbus to develop a baseline water testing protocol that would serve as a warning of contamination from oil and gas production waste disposal in the Columbus public water's watershed located in Morrow and Delaware Counties.

We want to thank our local geologist/consultant, Dr. Julie Weatherington-Rice, for her expert knowledge on this issue.  She has been involved with studying this issue since the 1980's, when efforts that seem long-forgotten were funded to ascertain contaminations to areas of Morrow County that were involved with the 1960's "oil & gas rush".

The paper will be published on our website, and we will send out a newsletter announcement as well.

We need your help to put the 2021 Brine Bill to Bed!

The Ohio Legislature has produced the 2021 version of the "brine-as-a-commodity" bill.  It is on fast-track, and we need help from you to submit testimony about why is it a terrible idea to spread highly-radioactive liquid oil and gas waste all over the surface of Ohio.
