Management Change at MGS International
 
MGS International B.V. has announced that with effect from 1 May 2013 Michel de Bruin has acquired the shares of joint owner Rene Buijs. With this acquisition, Michel de Bruin is now the sole owner of MGS International, a leading manufacturer and supplier of, amongst other things, Greenspeed Microfiber Systems.
The decision to continue with a single manager is a joint strategy decision made by the MGS management.  De Bruin stated: “I am convinced that the company has a great future ahead of it. On behalf of MGS International, I would like to whole-heartedly thank Rene for his dedication and what he has achieved since he joined us in 1991. He has contributed greatly to the organization that we are today, growing from a warehouse/importer to a leading producer and developer of innovative cleaning products and system of international caliber”. Rene Buijs will now concentrate his attention on financial and economic consultancy in other markets.
 
MGS International will continue to offer sustainable, ergonomic and innovative Greenspeed systems but also will seek opportunities through adapting new brands and concepts into the MGS vision of sustainability, safety and efficient usage. As de Bruin said: “This world continues to excite me and to surprise me in a positive way.There are not only many chances to innovate our products and systems but I want to focus on a number of new brands and systems where we can help our distributors increase market share and help improve our customers’ efficiency.”
Michel de Bruin started in the professional cleaning industry twenty five years agoandoriginally became a Director of MGS International in2001. Prior to that he held the position of Benelux Sales Director for Nilfisk-Advance from 1998-2000 and for Electrolux Europe from 1993-1998. For the past two years Michel has also served as European Board Representative for ISSA and is the founder of the association’s Benelux Working Group.
