Presentation at Shalom House
|
|
On Tuesday 28th January the PGM Eric Mock and Andrew Wood the WM of Cambrian Lodge 464 attended Shalom House in St David’s to present a plaque to Senior Nurse Alison Burrows. After brief introductions and a tour of the facilities at this well run hospice, Alison accepted the Plaque to attach to the bed acknowledging the efforts of the Brethren of Cambrian Lodge along with the Provincial Charity Committee in raising the money to enable the extra bed to be purchased. Eric and Andrew both commented on what a special place Shalom House is and in such a wonderful position and what a shame that funding from the government is not forthcoming to keep the hospice running at full capacity.
