TSE All-Share Index
Tehran stocks came under mild
selling pressure on Wednesday with the TSE All-Share Index losing 0.17% to
close at 78,736. The majority of sectors saw slight decreases, with Sugar
(-0.77%) the weakest. The biggest gainer was Metallic Ore sector (+0.85%). Automotive
(-0.20%) was the most traded sector with volume of IRR 86 billion (approx.
USD 2.3 million). Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -1.95%), Ghadir Investment
Co. (GDIR -1.09%) and Mellat Bank (BMLT -1.22%) were the top negative movers
of the All-Share Index today. Mobin Petrochemical Co. (MOBN -0.93%) posted
the highest trading volume among individual stocks with IRR 31 billion
(approx. USD 0.85 million). Total traded value of the TSE surged 102% to IRR
2,022 billion (approx. USD 54 million), backed by several block trades.
TSE30 Index
The
TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization slipped
0.25%, closing at 3,049. Most of the top 30s closed in negative territory,
with Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -1.95%) leading fallers. Omid
Investment Group Corp. (OIMC + 0.23%) led a small number of gainers. Total
traded value of the top 30s reached IRR 125 billion (approx. USD 3.3
million), up 17% from yesterday.
