Pasadena PSA Liquor Licence
Application
Community Survey Update and Reminder that Submission Close
January 1, 2020
A big thank you to
all in our community who completed the Survey. By Monday the 23rd there
were 131 responses, which is an outstanding survey response rate. The
outcome is:
- DO NOT SUPPORT APPLICATION = 83.3% (109)
- DO SUPPORT APPLICATION = 13.2% (20)
- NEITHER YES OR NO = 1.5% (2)
Thus , while there is support from some members in the community, the
overwhelming majority of those who responded oppose this PSA
Application. 88 comments were received and the majority of those
focused on parking, noise, alcohol consumption and safety.
We will soon send out a more detailed disidentified summary of the
response to the Survey.
It
is important that if you feel strongly about this Application that you
make your own individual submission.
It is the volume of submissions received that is often most significant
indicator to the assessors in Liquor and Gaming NSW.
SUMMARY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE MISSED IT:
The Pasadena is a licensed restaurant with a capacity for up to 164
people. The Pasadena has applied to Liquor and Gaming NSW for
Primary Service of Alcohol (PSA) Liquor License with the capacity to
serve 350 patrons Monday to Saturday from 5am to 12am (midnight) and
Sundays 10am to 10pm.
A PSA License allows patrons to purchase alcohol without needing to buy
food and can be served both inside and outside the restaurant (similar
to a beer garden).
