Friday, March 10th Luck of the Irish
Buy your tickets for Luck of the Irish with Portland Story TheaterGet your St. Paddy's groove on in true Irish fashion with Portland Story Theater's show Luck of the Irish. There will be plenty of music, rambunctious entertainment, and stories that are sure to lighten your spirit. Fueled by the legacy of Irish legend, luck, and love, this evening promises to be a rollicking good time for all. Dancing, singing, and musical entertainment by Brian Ó hAirt of Bua (bodhrán, whistle, vocals) Elizabeth Nicholson (harp, guitar, vocals) and Bob Soper (fiddle, vocals) of Stringed Migration, and Jake Grieco (flute, whistle, guitar). Stories and limericks told by Lynn Fitch, Beth Rogers (pictured), Lawrence Howard and Lynne Duddy. Oh and... that sweet sound of Irish Gaelic!
Saturday, March 18th Storytelling Workshop
Portland Story Theater’s Storytelling Bootcamp is a one-day intensive, where you will create new story material, learn about narrative structure and intentional storytelling techniques, and have a chance to share your stories while getting individual feedback. Open to anyone 18+. No performance. Cost: $150

Oregon Cultural TrustPortland Story Theater is producing a storytelling workshop and performance featuring the real, true stories of refugees and immigrants. The focus of the project is to humanize and build connection within our urban community. We are very excited to have Mexico, Denmark, Indonesia, Argentina, Iran, and Somalia represented at the show on April 7th. This program is made possible in part by the Oregon Cultural Trust.
